Summary: Madeleine describes a moment when her heart was broken. This event occurred when she was attending seminary school to become a chaplain, however she could not keep going with her dream. The program director told her that she was not compassionate towards hospital patients and thus she did not have the necessary to become a chaplain. She felt that she was compassionate since she always had a close and friendly relationship with them, so she was very disappointed when she could not continue studying.
